Position Title: Executive Director

Reports to: Prospera Business Network Board of Directors

Supervises: All employees

Status: Full time, exempt position

Job Summary:

The Executive Director serves a volunteer Board of Directors and gives the Board direction and feedback on
policy matters and oversees the implementation of the organization’s economic development activities on a dayto-
day basis. The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the overall policies, budgets and procedures for
the organization.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The overall duty and responsibility of the Executive Director is to lead the economic development organization.
This includes working with a volunteer Board of Directors, implementing the Prospera Business Network’s
strategic plan and assuring the delivery of quality services and programs. The Executive Director is responsible
for the organization’s financial performance.
