Artist’s bronzes honored at Calgary show

Ken Mayernik, a lifelong Great Falls-area resident and sculptor, said he speaks to the world through his bronzes.

With his success last month at the Calgary Stampede Western Art Show, the work of the soft-spoken Mayernik shouted for all to hear.

Mayernik won three prestigious awards at the show: Best of Show 3-D Artists Studio for his collection of works, and Best of Show 3-D and Collectors’ Choice for his sculpture "When Push Comes to Shove."
