Twitter changing the way Seattle small businesses operate

It’s no joke. "Handerpants" exist.

The proof is on Twitter, where Archie McPhee marketing manager David Wahl has been posting pictures of customers wearing the Seattle gag shop’s glove-like undies along with the links, deals and inside jokes the store sends to its 2,600 followers on the popular microblogging site.

"We just tweeted this week that we have air conditioning now in our store," said Wahl, who’s been posting on the site for the company since January. "’We have A/C and we’re located near Molly Moon’s.’ That was a good sales pitch for Wednesday."
