Rising star with ties to Montana sings at the state fair

Hayley Orrantia — a 15-year-old Texas entertaining sensation up for the lead role in an upcoming "High School Musical" sequel — has a voice that will grace the next Disney "Tinker Bell" movie soundtrack.

The rising star has performed in front of thousands of people — but she longs for two very special people in Great Falls to hear her live.

Hayley, who can count the main stage of the huge Texas State Fair among her many performance venues, brings her show to the Montana State Fair this year, enabling her grandparents, Peter and Janet Orrantia of Great Falls, to see her on stage as a professional entertainer for the first time.
