The County Fair – An Enviable Business Model

Recently, I spent the afternoon at the county fair with the family. Fairs are at the same time fun and a chore. The rides, petting zoo, fried food, cotton candy, games – these are so much fun for the kids and as we all know, happy kids means happy parents. But the hot sun, (tell me, what is the scientific between 100 degree weather and the arrival of the fair?) puddles of vomit, flies, dust and tattoos are overwhelming to that part of the brain that tries to maintain sanity. But we all know these things, accept them and go. Hey, it’s the fair!
