2nd Great Falls artist, Linda Short, selected for Paint the Parks

A second Great Falls artist placed a painting in the prestigious international Paint the Parks 100 competition.

Linda Short, a pastelist and former curator at The History Museum, joins local artist Ron Ukrainetz, who had two works selected for the show.

Short was delighted to learn that judges selected her work, "Do You Wanna," a pastel depicting two draft horses.
"I was very surprised," Short said. "This is the first time I entered this competition. I am truly honored and so excited at being one of the hundred, but I am amazed at all of the other great artists."
