Interactive Technology Group, (ITGWorld), a Butte company, is currently working with computer professionals from the Seattle, Vancouver BC and Atlanta GA areas, employing “associative memory” software technology to solve complex business problems that could utilize the power of the Rocky Mountain Super Computer in Butte.
This group will assemble in Butte next week, and on Wednesday, July 8th at 1:00 pm we plan to host an informal get-together for people in the local community who might have an interest in this technology and its applications.
Associative memory software allows high speed computers to access massive amounts of data by content rather than memory address, much like the human mind retrieves past information, allowing resultant comparisons beyond that of traditional “rules-based” data analysis.
The meeting, to be held in the Thornton Building second floor conference room (65 E. Broadway Street). Several demonstrations are planned, including a real-time analysis of stocks being traded on various stock exchanges. We hope a lively conversation will take place exploring the present and possibilities of this technology local and regional groups.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP via return email, or by calling me in Butte at (406) 533 6760 in Butte.
We look forward to your attendance and input.
