Boise Valley, Idaho getting another startup incubator

The Meridian Development Corp. hopes to offer help to small businesses.

As expected, the MDC board of directors approved creation of an almost 3,000-square-foot incubator downtown on Wednesday.

The as-yet unnamed incubator will be located at 136 E. Idaho, which housed Commercial Newspaper Service until a fire last year forced the company to relocate.

The building is owned by Day Side LP, which is restoring the two-story structure and expects to have it ready for occupancy by mid-July, according to Richard Pavelek, a partner in the limited partnership.
