Renewable Energy for America Program – NOSA – $60 Million available

The Notice of Solicitation of Applications (NOSA) for the Renewable Energy for America Program (REAP) was published in the Federal Register last week. USDA Rural Development is now accepting REAP applications for grants and loan guarantees for renewable energy and energy efficiency systems, and also is including grant funding for feasibility studies this year for the first time. Agriculture producers and rural small businesses are eligible to apply for this funding. The application deadlines for both the facility funding and the feasibility funding are July 31st.

I have attached a copy of the NOSA http://www.matr.net/files/2009NOSA.pdf so please pass the information on to any interested parties. There is $60 million available this year up from $22 million last year, so we need to get some applications from Montana! Additional information is on our website at http://www.rurdev.usda.gov/mt of contact any of our area offices.
