Green River, Wyoming considers ‘brand’

Green River is the latest Wyoming municipality to seek its own particular "brand" that aims to identify and distinguish this small river community from others in southwest Wyoming and across the state.

City officials hired the consulting firm Blue Canopy Inc. last year to draft a possible brand for the city that would "accurately and authentically" represent the values of Green River, company spokesman Brett Palmer told City Council members during a workshop earlier this month.

"Your brand needs to have a clear differentiation of place," Palmer said.
