The Montana Interagency Committee for Change by Women (ICCW) announces 11th Annual Excellence in Leadership Award Recipients

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

The Interagency Committee for Change by Women (ICCW) today announced the recipients of the 11th Annual Excellence in Leadership Awards.

The Interagency Committee for Change by Women (ICCW) is an organization established by Executive Order of the Governor. ICCW honors persons who have created positive change for all state employees by promoting the full participation of women in state government.

ICCW established the Excellence in Leadership awards (ELA) in 1999 to honor three individuals for exemplary leadership and achievements or for outstanding efforts to assist women to excel in the workplace.

Award Recipient in State Government:

Anna Whiting Sorrell, Director, Department of Public Health & Human Services, Helena

Award Recipient in the Private Sector:

Sheila Hogan, Executive Director, Career Training Institute, Helena

Award Recipient in the Public Sector:

Gene Leuwer, Executive Director, Rocky Mountain Development Council, Helena
