Montana State University study says plants also contribute to rise in fires
May 17, 2009 /

Philip Higuera, a postdoctoral researcher in earth sciences at Montana State University, and his colleagues are hoping to broaden the discussion with the publication of a paper in the May issue of Ecological Monographs.
"We’re hoping to bring this into the forefront to force the scientific community to look at this more," Higuera said.
