Energy Insider: New Minot State University Energy Degree

North Dakota has recently moved into the top five energy producers in the nation.

Beginning in the Fall 2009 semester Minot State University http://www.misu.nodak.edu/ will offer an Energy Economic and Finance degree program.

The program could put MSU on the same level with colleges such as the University of Texas, Oklahoma and Texas Tech.

"We`re very excited about this program. I think North Dakota will always be an agriculture state, but it`s turning into probably one of the leading energy states," says Dr. Frank Moseley, MSU Associate Professor.
