McLaughlin Research Institute in Great Falls, Montana adds doctor from Cornell University in New York working on brain degeneration to its staff

Dr. Teresa Gunn likes wide open spaces and friendly people.

She doesn’t like traffic.

That makes Great Falls an ideal place for the scientist to continue her research on mice with brain degeneration.

McLaughlin Research Institute http://www.montana.edu/wwwmri/ announced Wednesday that Gunn will join the institute this summer as its fifth research scientist.

Gunn currently works at Cornell University in New York and has previously collaborated with McLaughlin on research.

McLaughlin plans to begin recruiting a sixth scientist this summer.
