Tomorrow's inventions - Montana Tech students place in national competition

If engineering students at Montana Tech http://www.mtech.edu/ have their way, they'll develop a contraption to purify brackish water for drinking that is so simple it could be used in rural places throughout the world.
Other students would like to have a hand in producing electricity to help offset the cost of cleaning up the contaminated water on historic mining sites.
