Six States Selected to Develop New Models of Teacher Compensation

To help states develop strategies to improve the effectiveness of all current and prospective teachers, the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) today announced six states – Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Rhode Island and Tennessee – selected to participate in the Policy Academy on Creating New Models of Teacher Compensation That Enhance Teacher Effectiveness.
