Entrepreneurs work to make Midwest a high-tech hub

The region’s technology entrepreneurs are outnumbered, but they don’t intend to be outshined by their peers in Silicon Valley and other high-tech hubs.

“There are a lot of talented people here,” said Darby Frey, a Kansas City Web application developer. “But we are disconnected.”
