Craig Barrett, chairman of the Intel Corp. to speak at University of Montana commencement

Technology and computer software entrepreneur Craig Barrett, chairman of the Intel Corp. http://www.intel.com , will give the keynote address at the University of Montana’s http://www.umt.edu commencement ceremony in May, UM announced Tuesday.

Barrett worked 35 years at Intel, a global communications and computing company. But he is also a strong advocate for improving education around the world.

“We try to find people who are outstanding in their work, who have connections to Montana and who set a good example for our undergraduates,” said UM President George Dennison.
