$50,000 contest on for new clean technology businesses in the Northwest – Clean Tech Open

Northwest clean technology entrepreneurs with a good idea but strapped for cash are invited to enter the Clean Tech Open, where the right business plan could win tools, training and $50,000 in cash.

The nonprofit Clean Tech Open http://cleantechopen.com/ was founded in 2006 to help businesses successfully market themselves. The organization has staged its competition for three years in California and is expanding to the Pacific Northwest this spring.

Participants have until May 30 to submit entries. Seminfinalists will be selected in June and will be given hands-on training in all aspects of starting and sustaining their businesses from experts in venture capital, business, law, marketing and sustainability.
