Professional Bull Rider entertainer, Flint Rasmussen asks fans to help Choteau, Montana hospital. Teton Medical Center

A personal plea from PBR entertainer Flint Rasmussen went out over the Internet on March 18 as the Choteau-based performer asked his fans across the nation to send money to Teton Medical Center http://www.tetonmedicalcenter.net .

Rasmussen, 41, who lives on a small ranch 11 miles north of Choteau, suffered a heart attack on March 11 and was stablized at Teton Medical Center and then flown by helicopter ambulance to Benefis Healthcare Systems in Great Falls for treatment. Doctors installed one stent then in a plugged artery and installed a second stent last week. Rasmussen is now recuperating at home.

In an article on http://www.pbrnow.com/release/?id=4944 , Rasmussen said that Teton Medical Center, the 12-bed critical access hospital and 39-bed nursing home in Choteau, is facing a funding crunch, triggered largely by the cost of providing doctors and mid-level providers to cover the emergency room every day, round the clock.

As of March 20, TMC Foundation had received about $1,606 from Rasmussen’s fans and well-wishers, an average of $44 per contribution. Anyone who wishes to make a contribution can go to http://www.tetonmedicalcenter.net and click on the “Flint” button on TMC’s home page; or, donations can be sent to: Flint’s Friends, TMC Foundation, 915 Fourth St. N.W., Choteau, MT 59422.
