J.J. Adams, Aide for Sen. Baucus breaks down Montana’s stimulus package

An aide for Sen. Max Baucus http://baucus.senate.gov/ on the Senate Finance Committee talked a room full of business leaders through the recently passed stimulus package, breaking down the various components and describing what the $789 billion bill holds for Montana.

J.J. Adams told a group of around 40 at the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce that the package includes $285 billion in tax cuts for businesses, individuals and energy projects along with $504 billion in spending, on everything from infrastructure to education and health care information technology.
