Community invited to learn how Main Street program can revitalize Shelby’s business districts on March 16

In September 2008, Shelby was selected as a new affiliate member of the Montana Main Street program and, as the first step, will receive Main Street 101 training on Monday, March 16, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Shelby City Hall, 112 1st St. So. This program will be presented by Montana Main Street Coordinator Julie Burk.

Main Street is a historic-preservation based economic development program that has been used in more than one thousand rural and urban communities since 1980 to spark life into traditional downtown commercial districts.
