2009 Montana Excellence in Leadership Awards – Call for Nominations

The Interagency Committee for Change by Women (ICCW) honors persons who have created positive change for all state employees by promoting the full participation of women in state government. ICCW established the Excellence in Leadership awards (ELA) in 1999 to honor three individuals for exemplary leadership and achievements or for outstanding efforts to assist women to excel in the workplace.

The ELA awards are presented in three categories 1) a person in state government, 2) a person in the public sector, and 3) a person in the private sector. You are invited to nominate those individuals who have fully participated by becoming a leader, who recognize the value of women in the workplace and actively encourage women to move forward and upward.

An ELA nomination packet is available for download on the ICCW website at http://www.mdt.mt.gov/iccw/. You can also request packets by emailing [email protected]. The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 3, 2009.

ICCW will host the 2009 Montana Excellence in Leadership Awards on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in Room 303 (the Old Supreme Court Chambers) in the State Capitol Building, Helena. Please note that all award recipients must be present for this ceremony. This year’s honored guest is Lt. Governor John Bohlinger, who will join us in presenting the awards.
