States to Target Strategies to Turnaround Struggling Schools

The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) today awarded $150,000 grants to Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts and Mississippi to support the development of a comprehensive strategy aimed at improving chronically low-performing schools.
