First Native American student ever runs for Associated Students of Montana State University presidency

A soft spoken 22-year-old with glasses and long black hair, Nicholas Ross-Dick is the first Native American student to run for student-body president since Montana State University opened its doors in 1893.
“It’s just exciting to see this guy with his hat in the ring,” said Bill Yellowtail, Katz professor in MSU’s Native American Studies Department. “It’s just a thrill to see this young man rise.”
