Employees reinforce Blackfoot’s presence in Missoula
The opportunities are everywhere – tailgating at a Grizzly football game, attending your church picnic or a cocktail party, volunteering with the United Way, joining a health club or civic organization such as Rotary, Elks or Kiwanis – and the goal is simple:
Meeting new people who may one day bring business your way, either directly or by way of a referral.
Networking is nothing new, but it’s become such an important part of doing business that many groups have sprung up specifically to promote it.
And, some businesses – such as Blackfoot Telecommunications Group http://www.blackfoot.com/ – actively encourage the notion of their employees "getting out in the community."
They’re not making sales calls when they do it.
