The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation donates $50k to National Folk Festival in Butte, Montana this summer

The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation http://www.dpwfoundation.org/ has pledged $50,000 to this summer’s National Folk Festival http://www.nationalfolkfestival.com/ , according to a news release.

The festival "has demonstrated its potential to help build a large repeat tourism base for western Montana," said Deborah Doyle McWhinney, foundation chief executive officer and president. "And, we would like to see the festival grow and prosper as a signature summer event for all of western Montana."
