From ‘Tent City’ to the Lake Shore – Berg Companies expanding in North Idaho

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

A new business is moving to the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene. The company that housed Spokane businesses and residences in tents after the 1889 fire is expanding its offices to the Lake City. In addition, the company will open a new production facility in Post Falls later this year.

Berg Companies http://www.bergco.com/ , a flexible containment company that manufactures liquid containment and insulated coverage units for industrial and commercial applications announced Wednesday that it would be relocating its business development office to 1100 E. Lakeshore Drive.

"With the U.S. economy being as weak as it currently is, it is exciting to be working with a company that is defying the odds and thriving in this current economic climate," said Andy Barrett, president and co-owner of Berg Companies.
