Town Pump raises $1.45 million for Montana’s food banks

The Town Pump Charitable Foundation http://www.townpump.com/index.aspx/corporate/community_giving has raised $1.45 million to help feed Montana’s hungry.

The amount was a record for the foundation, which started fundraising for Montana food banks in 2002. The St. Vincent DePaul Society and the FISH organization in Great Falls together received $52,813, including a $20,000 foundation match that they shared.

Fifty food banks across Montana participated this year.
