A new course in life – Montana’s Alternative High Schools make a big difference.

On the day before he graduated, Tyler Bell said attending Helena’s alternative high school made all the difference in how he viewed education.
“It’s completely changed the course of my life,” the 18-year-old said.
Bell felt disengaged and disconnected when he attended Helena High School, and found the smaller setting at the Project for Alternative Learning appealing.
