Tough times ignite Flathead Valley Community College boom – Enrollment up nearly 20 percent

As other industries shrink during the recession, the business of education and retraining is booming at Flathead Valley Community College.

Enrollment numbers aren’t official yet, but the crowded hallways and smiles on the faces of administrators and trustees confirm boom times have returned to the Kalispell campus.
