Big Sky Institute launches blog, seeks contributors – "A Closer Look: Climate, Wildlands, People"

Montana State University’s Big Sky Institute has launched a blog, "A Closer Look: Climate, Wildlands, People" at http://bsi.montana.edu/acloserlook.

The blog was created to highlight science examining the interactions and impacts among climate, wildlands and people in the greater Yellowstone ecosystem, according to Twila Moon, assistant director of the BSI in Big Sky. Readers can expect to find information and resources on current topics, from the effects of mountain pine beetles to the future of Montana’s native coldwater fish. As the blog continues to develop, readers can also look for additions to the photo gallery and multimedia pieces.
