Changes Made to Americans With Disabilities Act

For the first time since its passage in 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act has been significantly amended. Under the amendments, more employees will qualify as disabled, thereby requiring employers to reasonably accommodate them. On February 18, 2009, The Employers Council will host an informative seminar that will explain employer obligations under these landmark amendments.
