Bresnan’s Billings, Montana operations growng

In a closet-sized meeting room on the second floor of the Bresnan Communications http://www.bresnan.com/ operations center in Billings, employee trainers share space with racks loaded with cable boxes and other electronic gear.

Outside, scores of customer service representatives answer questions and resolve problems for customers who subscribe to cable TV, Internet service and telephone services. Banks of office cubicles that sat empty when the $8 million, 44,000-square-foot building opened in the spring of 2005 have all been filled.

When the building at 1869 Monad Road opened nearly four years ago, it accommodated 200 employees. At the time, Chief Executive Bill Bresnan guessed that the Billings work force would grow to about 300 within a few years. But his projections turned out to be a little conservative.
