Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer: Energy efficiency projects should top economic-stimulus list

The multibillion-dollar economic stimulus package proposed by President-elect Barack Obama is a golden opportunity to remake America’s energy future, and Montana can be right in the thick of things, speakers at an energy conference here said Friday.

Gov. Schweitzer http://governor.mt.gov/ also said energy efficiency projects should be at the top of any economic-stimulus list, and that Montana is well-positioned to be the site of many energy projects in the near future.
