How Legislative Leaders Could REALLY Help ESTech

PFL Tech Inc. is a marketing technology company that provides sales enablement and marketing automation solutions, as well asprinting, mailing, and fulfillment services. They also provide some great Montana Jobs.

We should all be grateful that a group of smart and talented citizens has emerged and is attempting to create ESTech – the Eagle Star Technology Corridor. This is a welcome addition to the economic development efforts in the Treasure Valley. ESTech has attracted the attention of legislators such as Mike Moyle and Raul Labrador who are doing what they can to aid the effort. However, the legislators’ continual focus on tax incentives and other locational based incentives as a way to lure business to Idaho is not only impossible in this climate as Moyle has already acknowledged, but a prescription for failure as well. Our legislators need to add some tools to the tool box.
