Montana lends hand to Sun Mountain Lumber Mill with the deferral of loan principal and interest payments for two years.

The state extended a helping hand to Sun Mountain Lumber http://www.sunmtnlumber.com/ on Tuesday by approving the deferral of loan principal and interest payments for two years.

Gary Morehouse, assistant administrator of the Business Resources Division for the Department of Commerce http://businessresources.mt.gov/ , said the move is to show support for Sun Mountain.

Morehouse added that Gov. Brian Schweitzer is heavily involved in obtaining an economic stimulus package for the wood products industry.
