What role do educators play in preparing their students for entering the workforce — despite the obvious answer, determining how exactly, the Department of Education, local school districts and classroom educators should go about it — remains a contentious issue.

Education committee members of the Workforce Innovation Now grant program, representing industry, labor and education gathered Tuesday, to take part in a continuing conversation regarding the direction of career development within the school curriculum.
