OVP says it’s committed to Oregon

OVP Venture Partners http://ovp.com/ , Oregon’s most visible venture capital firm, will have only one officer staffing its Portland operation when 2009 begins.

The firm announced that Intel alum John Hull is stepping down at the end of December "to pursue other interests." Prominent Portland venture capitalist David Chen left OVP last year to focus on investments in sustainable industries.
