Study says Montana getting older

A new study says state and local governments will face challenges as Montana’s population ages.
Researchers at Montana State University say that by 2030, Medicaid for the elderly could more than double, while education and corrections costs are likely to diminish.
Since 1940, Montana’s population of residents over 65 has doubled. MSU professors say it will double again by 2030.
