$200K for Butte supercomputer - BLDC approves loan for RMSC project

The stars are aligning in preparation of the Dec. 27 arrival of a supercomputer in Butte.
The Butte Local Development Corp. approved a $200,000 three-year loan for the project Thursday, securing yet another funding source.
Rocky Mountain Supercomputing Centers, or RMSC, a Montana-based, private, nonprofit corporation, will receive the loan.
The $200,000 will combine with more than $3 million already earmarked from private, state and corporate entities.
