Alaska's First Site Selection Analysis Website

November 19, 2008View for printing

The Anchorage Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) became the first EDO in Alaska to offer a site selection analysis website, http://www.AnchorageProspector.com.

AnchorageProspector.com is a multi-use online commercial property search engine and is an information service for business owners and entrepreneurs. AEDC recognized that communities must provide quality commercial real estate information online to attract new businesses to the Anchorage area and to respond to the needs of existing businesses and commercial real estate professionals.

"[Many cities] have all been extremely successful with this tool and we believe that we're going to repeat that success here in Anchorage," said Bill Popp, AEDC President & CEO.

"I'm really impressed, it's an amazing tool" said Chris Stephens, an associate broker at Bond, Stephens and Johnson in Anchorage.
