Nearly two years after getting the green light from school officials to build a wind turbine on the C.M. Russell High School http://cmrweb.gfps.k12.mt.us/ campus, students and staff hope to be using wind for power by the end of next week. Advertisement
Industrial technology teacher Mark Yaeger said it was a long and arduous process — one that he wasn't expecting — to get a permit from the city to build the 60-foot tower.
"I was trying to do the right thing. It just really slowed us down," he said. "But it's good. It's going to be good for the kids."
