Missoula's housing plan aims for in-city living

November 6, 2008View for printing

People who work in Missoula should be able to live in the city as well.

A Missoula City Council committee approved Engen's resolution, but not without questions. An affordable housing advocate spoke in favor of the idea as well.

“The need is increasing across the state, so resources are becoming thinner and thinner,” said Andrea Davis, executive director of homeWORD, a Missoula-based nonprofit that develops affordable and energy-efficient homes statewide.
