Whitefish company builds Web products for giants — ZaneRay Group brings new money into the Flathead economy from far afield
| November 4, 2008 |
Welcome to the new made-in-Montana business, where there's a dog underfoot, a ping-pong table in the office, a rubber chicken on the wall, a gnome-lamp lighting the desk, and a surfboard in the corner.
"We have some amazingly creative and talented people here, with many, many years of experience," Reed Gregerson said. "We're all here because the skiing's good, the fishing's fantastic, and it's just a groovy place."
Gregerson's business, The ZaneRay Group http://www.zaneray.com/ , builds Web pages and the engines that drive them. They build for Patagonia, and for Billabong, and for Horny Toad, too. Clients include Competitive Cyclist, and fly-fishing giant Sage.
And it all started, as these things so often do here, with a vacation.
