Arista hopes to be next big thing in 'cloud computing'

Ken Duda isn't as celebrated as his partners, two guys who've made oodles from Google but aren't named Larry and Sergey. At the ultra-geeky supercomputing trade show in Reno last November called SCO '07, Duda might have been just another face in the crowd, if not for the metal box he brought along.
That thing got plenty of attention. Engineers were stunned, Duda recalled, as he explained that, yes, we've really packed 48 ports of 10-gigabyte Ethernet in there. He could also boast that was the "first switching solution with an extensible modular network operating system."
