Silicon Valley Entrepreneur Consultant Bill Joos is Coming to Bozeman to Help You With Your Startup

Montana entrepreneurs sometimes feel like they’re climbing an ever-changing
mountain all by themselves when it comes to growing their startups. How
do they find the people who can help them compete against the Silicon
Valley businesses that have the resources just outside their door?

Highway 12 and TechRanch are bringing Silicon Valley expertise to Bozeman to help you conquer that mountain.

Highway 12 Ventures
http://www.highway12ventures.com and TechRanch http://www.techranch.org are hosting a one day entrepreneurial
bootcamp with nationally recognized start-up expert Bill Joos geared
toward local entrepreneurs at the Best Western GranTree Inn in Bozeman,
Montana on November 5, 2008 at 8:30 am. This seminar will teach the top
ten mistakes in business plans and how to perfect a company’s elevator
pitch and its positioning.

The program will include:

1. Top Ten Mistakes Made in Business Plans

“Your business plan is the most important document you’ll write as an
entrepreneur. It can be the ticket to funding, and interest from
potential clients and partners. Learn what NOT to do so you can develop
a hard-hitting, compelling business case for your company.”

2. Perfecting Your Positioning

“Before you can pitch your company to raise funds or attract strategic
partners and alliances, you’ve got to perfect your positioning. This
session will provide you with a systematic approach to help you better
determine your all important market definition and value propositions.
This program features a hard-copy, walk-away tool that helps define
these for a technology based start-up company. Participants will be
taught how to use this tool which is based on a case-study example of a
real startup.”

3. Perfecting Your Pitching

“Learn how to craft the best possible pitch (presentation) in the
shortest possible time. This session will take you through the process
of creating and delivering a compelling elevator pitch, a one-page
executive summary and 13-15 slide company overview presentation.”
