Micron jobs not easy to replace

Labor officials say there is work to be had, but much of it is not in the Valley. The company says most of the layoffs will happen before Christmas.
While Treasure Valley jobs are limited, there are opportunities elsewhere.
Marathon Cheese Corp. http://www.marathoncheese.com/ , a Wisconsin-based cheese maker with a plant in Mountain Home, is looking for employees, Madsen said. "They are still hiring about 220 or so and (are going) up to 500 to 550 over time," he said.
