Missoula to refresh Web site

A brand-new Web site is in the works for the city of Missoula.

The current site, which sees roughly 400 visitors a day, is difficult to navigate and search, according to city officials. But not for much longer.

This week, the Missoula City Council unanimously approved a $68,600 contract for CivicPlus to redesign its site and provide other related services, including three years of maintenance. CivicPlus is based in Kansas and specializes in local government Web sites.

“We’re just really excited about this project and bringing our Web site to a whole new level,” said City Clerk Marty Rehbein.
