New coats for 20 new medical students at Montana State University
| September 29, 2008 |
Twenty students newly inducted into medical school are celebrated by friends and family members at a traditional white coat ceremony held on the MSU campus Friday. The medical students, who are jointly enrolled at MSU and the University of Washington Medical School, participate in the WWAMI http://uwmedicine.washington.edu/Education/WWAMI/ program.
WWAMI is a cooperative program of the University of Washington School of Medicine and the states of Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. The students are attending classes at MSU for their first year of medical school before moving under the umbrella of the Seattle campus for subsequent years of study.
